Kennedy explained that Save Our Allies is leveraging its resources to provide assistance in the affected areas. "We are doing our best to get as many people out as we possibly can and get humanitarian aid to the frontlines," he said. "The devastation is indescribable."

As of Sunday morning, the North Carolina National Guard (NCNG) had mobilized over 500 soldiers and airmen, along with over 200 vehicles and aircraft, including emergency aviation assets and high-water response units. The NCNG reported completing 16 air missions, resulting in the rescue of 119 individuals and 11 pets.
