Indianapolis Colts linebacker Zaire Franklin had a parting shot for Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris after their Week 4 matchup on Sunday afternoon, criticizing his toughness and comparing him unfavorably to fellow running back Cordarrelle Patterson.
Indianapolis Colts linebacker Zaire Franklin did not hold back his criticism of Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris after their Week 4 matchup on Sunday afternoon. Franklin, who had a strong performance with nine tackles, took issue with Harris's demeanor and questionable toughness.
Harris rushed for just 19 yards on 10 carries, his worst performance of the season. Franklin appeared to take issue with Harris holding up two middle fingers as he walked out of the tunnel and onto the field at Lucas Oil Stadium before the game.

Following the game, Franklin took to social media to express his thoughts on Harris's performance and character. "Kid is soft. 84 run harder," Franklin wrote on Twitter, referring to Cordarrelle Patterson, who had a more impactful game with 43 yards on six carries.
Franklin's comments drew a response from former NFL player Darius Butler, who replied with crying-laughing emojis. Franklin responded, "If I'm lying, I'm flying."

Harris has not yet responded to Franklin's jab. The veteran defender has made his stance clear, suggesting that Harris lacks the toughness and determination required to succeed at the NFL level.
Franklin's criticism is particularly notable given his own performance on Sunday. The linebacker recorded nine tackles, including two tackles for loss, and helped lead the Colts to a 27-24 victory.

Harris's game against the Colts was a departure from his previous performances this season. He had rushed for at least 69 yards in the last three games before the Steelers dropped their first game of the season.
Despite Harris's struggles, the Steelers remain a formidable opponent. Quarterback Kenny Pickett showed promise, throwing for 275 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver George Pickens also had a standout performance with six catches for 102 yards and a touchdown.
The Colts' defense will face another tough test in Week 5 when they travel to Denver to take on the Broncos. The Broncos have a talented offense led by quarterback Russell Wilson, running back Javonte Williams, and wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.
Meanwhile, the Steelers will look to bounce back in Week 5 when they host the Buffalo Bills. The Bills are one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl this season and will provide a major challenge for the Steelers' defense.
